Payment Information

§ 4 Prices and shipping costs

  1. The small business owner is exempt from sales tax according to Section 19 of the VAT Act. The purchase is made without the addition of sales tax.

  2. If goods are shipped, the seller will charge packaging and shipping costs in addition to the stated prices. The shipping costs will be clearly communicated to the buyer on a separate information page on the website and during the ordering process.

  3. Different shipping costs for shipping to different countries or possible shipping exemptions up to a certain weight are also shown on our information page and clearly displayed during the ordering process.

§ 5 Terms of payment; default

  1. As a customer, you can choose from the payment methods available during and before completing the order process. Detailed information on the payment methods available can be found on a separate information page.

  2. If separate fees apply for payment methods, you will also be informed of this during the ordering process and on the information page.

  3. If you have agreed to pay by invoice, payment must be made within 30 days of receipt of the goods and the invoice. For all other payment methods (except cash on delivery), payment is made in advance without deduction.

  4. If third-party providers such as PayPal are commissioned to process payments, their general terms and conditions apply.

  5. If the payment deadline is missed, the customer will be in default without any further request for payment. In this case, the customer must pay the statutory default interest. The customer's obligation to pay default interest does not exclude the seller from claiming further damages for default.

§ 6 Retention of title, offsetting

  1. We reserve title to the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full (retention of title according to §§158, 449 BGB).

  2. Before transfer of ownership, the goods may not be resold, pledged, rented, processed, assigned as security, otherwise disposed of or modified or encumbered with other rights - unless the seller expressly consents.

  3. The buyer is obliged to treat the purchased item with care until ownership is transferred. Until this point, the buyer is obliged to notify the seller immediately in writing if the delivered item is seized or subject to other interventions by third parties.

  4. In the event of breach of contract by the customer, in particular in the event of late payment or breach of an obligation under clause 3 of this paragraph, the seller is entitled to withdraw from the contract and to demand the return of the goods.

  5. The seller is entitled to initially offset payments made by the buyer against existing claims against the buyer.

  6. You only have the right to offset if your counterclaim has been legally established, is not disputed or recognized by us, or is closely related to our claim. You can only exercise a right of retention if your counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
