Feeling Beings Who Think

Where perception begins

Feelings Who Think explores what happens when feeling is no longer understood as the opposite of thinking. In large-format watercolors, a dialogue emerges between emotional perception and cognitive distance—a painterly exploration of consciousness, sensation, and humanity.

About the artist

Charlotte Jeroma (born 1993 in Cologne) began her career in the world of data and systems – she studied business informatics, cognitive science and artificial intelligence in Vienna and Linz and worked in programming.
When the precision of this world eventually felt empty, she returned to painting – to a language that seeks to prove nothing, but to perceive.
Her works are painterly explorations of feelings, states, and inner movements—attempts to make visible the living that cannot be captured in numbers.
Today she lives and works in Cologne and shares her practice in her series Feelings Who Think.
